US troops in Weymouth Harbour

In Weymouth Harbour US troops board their ships prior to embarkation in early June 1944 in preparation for Operation Overlord. In the foreground two U.S. Navy sailors have marked up their jackets. This LCT is transporting personnel and vehicles of the 1st US Inf Div.
