Tanks US 2nd Armd Div

Tanks of US 2nd Armoured Division are greeted as conquering heroes by the civilian population of Palermo. Before the invasion it was thought that Allied troops might receive a cold reception from the Sicilians, but once they arrived it soon became clear that the locals were tired of the conflict and wished for peace to return to their island.
