Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada disembarking from a lnading ship infantry (LSI) onto assault landing craft (LCA) ready for the attack. These LCAs could carry 30 fully loaded men. Fine weather and calm seas aided the process and there was none of the seasickness amongst the troops that marred the D-Day landings in Normandy.
