Force G landing craft at Southampton, 1 June. In the centre are LCH 100 and LCH 317, which served as headquarters vessels for the landing on Jig sector. Also visible are LCT (3)s from 15th Flotilla, which carried DD Shermans of the Sherwood Rangers and the larger LCT (4)s of 23rd Flotilla.
