One of the Landing Craft Tank (LCT 159) that brought the armour of the Calgary Regiment onto the beach. The LCTs were the largest ships to come into shore and their commanding bulk made them tempting targets for enemey artillery. LCT 159 was in the first wave of tank landing craft and was disabled the moment she touched down at around 0530 hrs.
